Niche Walls
What is a niche wall?
A Niche Wall is a solid granite wall with small recesses built into
it where ashes can be interred. A plaque marks the location of the
ashes in the wall and provides a solid place to direct your reflections
and energy.
What should I know about niche memorials?
- Niches are available for a single placement, with each individual niche holding one set of cremated remains.
- Plaques
are blue in colour for the Grey Niche Wall and Maroon in colour for the
Red Niche Wall, these allow for personalised emblems and inscriptions.
- This
is the garden-style Niche Wall; however, there are two other types of
niche walls in the Park - the special RSL niches in the Sturdee Memorial Garden and the Courtyard of the Pietà mausoleum.
